Tara Sutton has accepted a tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Sociology at Mississippi State University. Tara will begin as an assistant professor in August 2018.

Elizabeth Culatta has accepted a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Sociology at Augusta University. Elizabeth’s position begins August 2018.

Pablo Lapegna’s book Soybeans and Power: Genetically Modified Crops, Environmental Politics, and Social Movements in Argentina received the 2017 Outstanding Book Award from the American Sociological Association’s Sociology of Development section.
