New study shows poor heart health increases risk of dementia for Black Americans

Graduate student Rachael Weaver participated in an interview with WSB Radio to discuss a recent UGA study that showed poor heart health increases risk of dementia for Black Americans that was published in the Journal of Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities. Her co-authors on the study included Sociology faculty Karlo Lei and Ron Simons and graduate student Yu-Wen (Winnie) Lu. It was reported on Yahoo News and WSBTV/Radio
