Kendall Sanders is a second-year graduate student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Georgia, where she is completing her master’s thesis, Power Outside of the System: Nonprofits and the Fight for Equitable Informal Education. Her research is supported by the Franklin Arts and Sciences, Franklin Forward Research Grant.

A rising race scholar, Kendall’s research interests lie at the intersection of race, media, and education. She currently serves as a Teaching Assistant and has delivered guest lectures in her department, experiences that have strengthened her commitment to pedagogy.
