The Franklin College of Arts and Sciences offers a number of scholarships for undergraduates. Although some of the scholarships are open to all undergraduates, others require that students be pursing particular career goals (e.g., medicine), have other majors as well (e.g., music), have graduated from a particular high school (e.g., Carrollton High School), or be a certain type of student (e.g., a woman over 35). Those with restrictions tend to have small applicant pools, so it would be worth your while to explore those for which you qualify. Many students will find that they fit one or another scholarship requirement. The college website lists more details and contact information. The application deadline tends to be in April or early May, but it varies, so confirm with the college website. Undergraduate Student Scholarship and Awards
