Alumna Joins Inaugural UGA School of Medicine Class

Congratulations to UGA Sociology alumna Meghan Blitchington, who graduated from UGA in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology and sociology, as one of seven first-generation college students in the UGA's inaugural School of Medicine class. According to Meghan, Medical Sociology (SOCI 3100) was part of her inspiration for her new journey.
